Autism Awareness Ribbon

April is recognized as Autism Awareness Month, a time for our school community to learn about, celebrate, and support individuals with autism. Throughout the month, students will participate in meaningful activities that promote kindness, understanding, and inclusion. We kicked things off by wearing blue to show our support, followed by classroom discussions about acceptance and celebrating differences.

Students also had the opportunity to color autism awareness ribbons as a reminder that everyone’s unique strengths make our community stronger. As a school-wide project, classes worked together to create a collaborative puzzle bulletin board—each piece representing how we all fit together and belong. By the end of the month, we hope our students walk away with a deeper understanding that being different is something to be valued and respected every day.
