24-25 Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to our amazing educators that have been selected to represent our school as Educator and Educational Services Professional of the Year!

It should come as no surprise that Mrs. Dawn Walsh has been recognized as the Educator of the Year! Mrs. Walsh has been teaching 2nd grade for 18 years and is known for her dedication and high expectations for student achievement.

The one and only Mrs. Journie Cifelli, interventionist and leader of the pick-up line, is the Educational Services Professional of the Year! Her years of experience in the classroom and as a reading specialist allow her to provide the intervention our students need to become readers and writers in 1st grade.

Officer Bill

Our very own Officer Bill is gearing up for his annual bike ride to Washington D.C., as he participates in the Police Unity Tour. In March, the SCA organized a Rock n' Roll-a-thon to raise funds in support of Officer Bill and local Mount Olive Township officers, who are also participating in the ride. $4,800 was donated to the organization, with a mission to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum.

Officer Bill started riding in the Police Unity Tour in 2007 and trains year round for this event.

On May 9th, Officer Bill will be a lead ride marshal for Chapter 1's approximately 600 riders, over the 300 mile ride from Fairfield, NJ to Washington, D.C. The ride will take 3.5 days and ends at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

We wish Officer Bill and our local MO officers a safe journey!
